“I make pictures with the outside lines”

Meg Minkley is an artist, a muralist, an educator, and a survivor.

Minkley has made a name for herself through her “A Drawing a Day” project, a creative expression used as therapy during an incredibly difficult and emotional time. This expression has yielded a mature collection of works by the Australian-native artist. Each artwork is created with dramatic line drawing and hand-drawn typography, paired with expressive use of colour “outside the lines.” Meg’s art encourages conversation and demonstrates emotion in each piece, commission or designed product.
